Are you making plans to attend the World Economic Forum in NYC at the end of January, guaranteed to have one of the largest and most intense activist turn-outs since Seattle? If so, BehindTheLabel.org wants to document your trip to the WEF, as well as your experiences during this historic event.
We are looking for several people from different parts of the country who are working on sweatshop issues and labor rights, and that will be making the trip to New York to add their voices to the thousands of activists who are concerned about the future of our world. Armed with a camera and a point of view, these people will provide daily journalistic reports of their trip and of the events during the WEF, explaining to the world what they see and how they feel about it. While a video camera is preferable, we will also accept images taken by a digital camera. Your videos and/or photos will appear daily on BehindTheLabel.org, and will provide the world with an on the ground view of the proceedings in New York.
