Audience Member Report
As part of
the Car Stories activity, you will write a 300 word (minimum) report on your
experience as a member of the audience.
This report will count for 5%
your final evaluation, and it will be marked according to three equally
weighted criteria:
a)
Content
b)
Structure
c)
Accuracy
Content
The report
should give a description and commentary about AT LEAST THREE Car Story
performances. Try to focus on story
points which you found particularly interesting or surprising, the quality and realism
of the acting, any special effects that were used, participatory (audience
interactive) elements, etc.. You can
also talk about your overall experience as a member of the audience.
The report
should be coherently organized with:
The introduction
should establish the context for your report.
Minimally, it should make clear that you participated in a Car Stories
event on such and such a date as part of your English class. The body should be divided into
separate paragraphs in which you discuss each of the car stories that you saw
(one car story per paragraph). In
the conclusion, you should offer
some evaluation of the performances -- which did you like the most, and
why? Briefly discuss your overall
impressions as a member of the audience in the Car Story experience.
Accuracy
refers to ‘language accuracy’. This
means using correct spelling, using correct grammatical structures (i.e.
appropriate verb conjugations, correct pronoun structures, etc.), and using
appropriate vocabulary.
THE CAR STORY REPORT IS DUE IN OUR LAST CLASS (i.e. Week 15).
