REVIEW EXERCISE - CONNECTORS

 

Using a connector (coordinating conjunction, correlative conjunction, subordinating conjunction, conjunctive adverb, or relative pronoun), combine the following pairs of sentences into one.  There is usually more than one possible answer.  Remember to punctuate accordingly.

 

1.  He poured honey all over her body.  He licked it off.

 

 

2.  We must reduce the speed of trucks on the highway.  There will be more traffic deaths.

 

 

3.  He forgot to put on the gun's safety catch.  He shot himself in the foot.
