EXERCISE - PASSIVE VOICE

Change the following sentences to the passive voice, keeping the verb in the same tense as in the active sentence.

1. They will execute the murderer at midnight tonight in the electric chair.

2. People have seen over 200 UFO's this year, according to The Star.

3. An iron girder crushed the man's leg in yesterday's accident.

4. The doctor is going to amputate his leg this afternoon.

5. The Beatles wrote that song, but Elvis performed my favorite version.

6. The natives of Borneo wear human skulls during their spirit dances.

7. Afterwards, they eat the flesh of their captured enemies.

8. The tribe will use the skulls again in their next spirit dance.

9. The judge has not decided the verdict yet.

10. The construction workers are repairing the road today.
