UPDATES
7/26/03:Playing with Simon and Robin at M Bar.
7/22/03:Gig with Simon and Robin of XUK at the Basement.
7/13/03:I updated a lot of pages. Actors, Writings, Viola, Screenplay, Guestbook, Frames, Friends, Authors...Ahhh, nobody cares.
7/11/03:What the hell; here's an update. Love life: Down the toilet. Family: Toilet. Finances: Toilet. Physical health: Negligible. Artistic innovation: Questionable but hanging on by a thin thread. Mood: Aaah, whatever. Anyway, I've been playing around town with the inestimable Simon and Robin Holden of XUK. Also, award-winning electronic music wunderkind George Sarah. Also, I appear on the song "Raine" by Bret Michaels (from Poison), on his album "Songs of Life." Also, I've played on a bunch of albums of string quartet arrangements for Vitamin Records. That's me on the George Strait, Faith Hill, Diana Krall, David Gray, and Phish tributes. I'm not getting royalties, so don't feel you have to rush out and buy 'em just for my sake.
3/22/00: In the month since my last update, I've finished "Of Human Bondage" by Somerset Maugham, "Bech at Bay" by John Updike, and Final Fantasy VIII. I spent Spring Break in Kentucky, but there's not much to tell about that. As you'd probably imagine.
2/18/00: I put a shitload of swing bands on the "bands" page.
2/17/00: I alphabetized the "authors," "actors/directors," and "bands" pages. For some reason. I also added Tori Amos to the "bands" section, which I'd been meaning to do for a long time, since she's the only even-remotely-pop musician I listen to anymore.
2/15/00: I put one of my stupid dialogues up on the "writings" page. I was really close to putting up the first scene of the screenplay, but decided against it. Email me if you want to see it, but it scares the crap out of me that someone might steal it.
2/8/00: I played in my first performance with the USC Thornton Symphony last Friday. It was good. We played "Petrushka" by Stravinsky (which rocked), Enescu's "Romanian Rhapsody #2, and Debussy's "Danses Sacree et Profane." That's all for now. Oh, and I split my "Movies and Actors" page into two pages: "Movies" and "Actors/Directors." I'm not sure quite why.
2/4/00: To the Misanthopic Bitch and one of her barely-coherent-enough-to-be-irritating detractors, I say "Hah!" I'm over 3/4 of the way through "Atlas Shrugged." Nobody reads Ayn Rand, my ass. Never underestimate the power of boredom.
1/24/00: I've updated the links pages. A lot more shit on 'em now. And more commentary as well. More authors, more movies, more actors, more comic books, more composers...More. As if anybody looks at them or this page.
1/12/00: I'm redoing this page. I've learned some things since I began it, and I'm editing things to reflect that. That's all you need to know.
