Imprint / Relief Embossing

Materials:

Cardstock Embossing Powder (regular or           enamel) Ink, colored or uncolored Metallic Pen (optional)

Instructions:

Ink cardstock.  Pour on embossing powder (I used turquoise) and heat.  While the powder is hot, add another layer.  Layer at least 4 times.  Ink stamp well, and press into hot powder.  Press firmly for 10 seconds or more.  Remove stamp.  If you want to, you can color in the image.  I used a gold metallic pen.

For the gecko card, I superembossed the background using green dye ink and clear embossing powder.  I then inked a small area in the corner and relief embossed the gecko stamp in verdigras powder.  I used a gold metallic pen to color in the gecko and to make spots on the paper.
