The Party

HIGHLIGHTS

I had a moving out/band debut party on April 25, 1998. Hard to do in a densely populated city like Taipei, but I am a master.

Jell-O Shots, tequila, vodka, beer, wine, and who knows what else.
Chapped neighbors, except for the ones in apartment 13-4 who were most understanding.

A group of South Africans stayed forever! My houseguests wanted to go to sleep and were banging on the drums to get them to leave. I was passed out, didn't even hear the drums, though I'm sure the neighbors did.

10:10PM. Thomas on guitar. No, it's not out of focus; Thomas was just rending the time/space continuum with his melodies. Digital cameras tend to have a hard time picking that up.

10:28PM. Rex on vocals. Rex just narrowly escaped that on-coming semi; we were worried when the headlights had him in their glare.

9:31PM. A capacity crowd! 30+! Hello to Shirley (by the curtains, behind the guy holding a beer) and Amy (center right, white long-sleeved shirt).

10:28PM. Barrie on drums, eh.

My favorite shirt. Any girlfriend I have had in the past always hates it

10:30PM. We got them to dance with "Blister in the Sun." My infamous Budweiser shirt acted as beacon.
