The Mage Winds |
Winds of Fate. Elspeth is the Heir to the Throne of Valdemar, and since the war with Ancar of Hardorn, has been taught the tricks of how to avoid assassins. These save her life, but the assassin had the use of Magic, real Magic. The protections that had kept Valdemar safe since Herald Vanyel died were disintegrating. Elspeth decides that she should go and find mages to bring back to Valdemar, if not get teaching herself, should it be possible.
Winds of Change. Elspeth and her teacher, Darkwind of the Clan k'Sheyna of the Hawkbrothers, have discovered a dark Adept in the area. She is adopted a Wingsister to the Clan, and begins to get training to control her Adept-class Mage-Gift. Unfortunately, the dark Adept, Mornelithe Falconsbane, has plans for the Clan...and all connected with it.
Winds of Fury. Elspeth returns to Valdemar, a full Adept...and just in time. Ancar resumes his attacks on Valdemar, this time with the help of Mornelithe Falconsbane. Their plan seems to be working. The Mage Storms |
Storm Warning. All has changed. Valdemar and Karse are now sister countries, joined in their battle against Ancar and Hardorn. Karal, a young priest of Vkandis Sun-Lord, is the secretary to the envoy to the Court of Valdemar. Things aren't easy for him. He is the ancient-enemy-turned-friend and no one really trusts him. And then all hell breaks loose...
Storm Rising. The Eastern Empire has been gobbling up Hardorn one day at a time, though not always easily. The rebels (patriots), having no training what-so-ever, are demolishing the Imperial Army simply because they have no training. There is no way to get help from the Empire. And things are getting worse.
Storm Breaking. The storms are an echo...a reflection of the great cataclysm which created two very large, very circular craters. Urtho's Tower remains at the center of the Dhorisha Plains and may contain secrets which can save them all...
