Well, this is what I tend to do in my free time... I absolutely love to cross-stitch, especially big complicated people projects. There are an amazing number of places on the web where you can buy patterns, kits, accessories, or just the floss or the fabric. The one I like the most right now is www.allstitchedup.com. It is absolutely fabulous! You can buy almost anything you would want, and it always at least 10% off. There are usually sales where you can buy things up to 45% off! The other store I frequent, is not online. It's a little place called Cross-Stitch Unlimited in Arlington, MA. It's run by two women who are extremely helpful. They will order anything you want, if they don't happen to have what you are looking for right then.
In any case, my favorite designers are Lavender & Lace and Mirabilia, though I really like some of Theresa Wentzler's work. For those who might possibly be interested, here is a list of all the big people projects that I have right now. Not to say that I'm not buying more all the time....
