(MY PERSONAL OPINION ON WHAT HAPPENED)
Apparently what happened, was that 3 weeks ago O-Town's management team decided they needed to get everyone in Germany a day earlier than scheduled, so they called up the radio station that was sponsering this concert at the Midland County Fair in Michigan, and asked if the concert could start at 5pm in stead of the scheduled 7pm so they could catch a plane that night after the concert and head on over to Germany were they were scheduled to play on the 8-15-01. The radio stations did nott agree with this choice and told them no. So the radio station staff had a feeling that something was going to happen and they went ahead and had papers drawn up on O-Town and management for Breach of Contract. Well, come 7pm on the 14th, O-Town hops out of a semi onto the stage and starts singing with no power at all. They sung a capella for 45 minutes, but for only a handfull of people(350), when there were nearly 5,000 tickets sold. At 8pm(when they were scheduled to be on) the staff at the fairgrounds turned on the power and then O-Town sung for another 15 mins. As they were leaving O-Town and Mike Ronin were served court papers for Breach of Contract saying that they did not do as was specified in the contract....blah blah blah....
BUT...in my opinion...
GOOD O-TOWN: Instead of cancelling the show they went ahead and performed with no power or mics or anything...
BAD O-TOWN:
They should have kept the arrangements as specified in the signed contract.                   ---Dawn, Arkansas
