I called two people at once. I called my mom and dad back in Oklahoma. My mom was trying to find out on the internet at 4 in the morning, and she didn't realize that they weren't announced yet. They were all excited. I also called my costar/girlfriend, Erin Hershey. Who shouldn't have been nominated! I think anywhere from Michael Easton to Kelly Monaco (I thought Kelly had a great year). I thought Erin had some really great stuff. Ion Overman had some really great things from "Tainted Love."

I feel hononred to be nominated, but I think it's a shame the way the nominations are. I think a lot of talented people get left out. Realistically, with daytime shows, you don't have the chance to catch everyone else's performances. Either you have SoapNet or you catch it in your dressing room.

First of all congratulations on your Emmy® nomination. You totally deserve it and I hope you get it. I just have a few questions for you.
1. Is Jack going to have more of a role in "Superstitions?"
2. Are there any plans to explore Jack's family background, or to have him become closer to his brother, Chris?
3. Would you like to see Jack interacting with characters other than Livvie, Jamal, and Alison? For example, doing a storyline with Chris and Jack or Kevin and Jack?
4. How would you characterize the relationship between Kevin and Jack?

Thorsten Kaye (Ian). I've become really close friends with him. He's just a genuine guy, a really nice guy. Erin and I always hang out with him and Susan, his girlfriend.
