Ernie the Iguana

  Boy has she grown!  Now she is very close to 5 feet long.  Don't worry.  The ball in the picture is no longer allowed around her as after I had taken this picture I had to pull it out of her throat.  Who would have guessed that she thought it was a berry!  No more cat toys around for Miss Ernie to snack on!!
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
  This is her as she is snuggled on my shoulder.  Excuse how I look as I couldn't quit talking long enough to have a decent picture taken.  It shows how big she is now though.  She normally isn't this orange but hey 'tis the "season"....She is a bit gravid (has eggs). This is her as she normally is colored.  She loves when the sliding glass door is open and she can soak up the sun.  Plus she knows that I will go out with her on the deck and let her soak up the sun out there too.  It is so odd that as soon as her tail is out the door she will flatten out on the deck to get as much exposure as she can.  Lucky for me she hasn't tried to jump into the tree next to the deck yet.  It was winter here. As time goes on I will add more things such as links and all.  Of course more pictures too.  Someday I hope to turn my spare bedroom into a home for her.  I have to wait until the person living there moves though.  I would love to have her free roam but hey this is Michigan.  It can be 50 degrees in the summer and way below 0 in the winter.  I would rather have her free roam with supervision so she doesn't become an Igsicle.        Sign my guestbook!
