| From the day Ernie was born until the day he left our world he was the apple of our eye, as well as his other 3 brothers. My husband and I love each and everyone of our kids and love to be with them! |

| Those big strong arms of his would hug you so tight!..He was well known for the hugs and kisses. The "I love you's" were easy for him too. |
| Ernie was blessed with short stocky legs and stubby little fingers, but those fingers would wrap around your shoulders and give you the best back & neck rubs a person could ever get. |

| I started a Sesame Street Ernie collection for him when he was born. When he was introduced to the younger children as Ernie...they all thought they were seeing a celebrity!! The kids were amazed by him..he loved all children. Kole and Ern were often referred to by us as Burt and Ernie! Kole was older than Ern by 15 mo. Ernie was our baby,.. Byron and I did try to keep him that way by cuddleing him. He enjoyed sitting on his dads lap while watching t.v. and also laying with me on the couch. As big as he was getting we always made room for him....on our laps. He always made room in his heart for everyone!!! |

| His smile would melt any heart and his freckles were referred to as angel kisses! (He hated that, when people would tease him about his freckles, but Ern would not be Ern without those freckles!) His eye lashes were wanted by many women. They were so long they would touch his eye brows. I remember one time he did cut them, he said"I don't want girl lashes!" The older girls at the high school loved to pinch his cheeks. He said he hated that too. but I could tell ,.he enjoyed the attention the girls gave him. |
