The Harvest Festival

Here in our humble neighbourhood in Toronto, Roncesvalles Village, every fall there is the Harvest Festival,
a tradition which dates as far back as 2001.
Since most of Toronto is covered with concrete, we're not exactly sure what was being harvested,
but nevertheless the idea of a fair in the autumn still has a certain charm.

From our place, the first signs of the harvest festival was this band playing across the street.
(That's them next to the cool silver station wagon.)
Further down the street, there was a ska band, a polka band, and a Cuban band, among others.

There were also wagon rides, as seen in this photo.
There were also pony rides, a little petting zoo, lots of food, and a juggler.
Of course, Daddy couldn't be bothered to take the camera when we went outside, so there are no photos of these things.

I got a ballon while we were out.

I let Daddy play with it too.
