The writers change their minds like they change their underwear (to
quote Survivor Tom, the king of eloquence). In episode 13, "Damage
Is Done," Ella is the ill one in the Greene family. Instead of
Rachel overdosing, Ella gets into Rachel's Ecstasy stash and ingests
some. She pulls through but is still very ill.
I've also heard they're not killing off Dr. Greene--he leaves the
show some other way before episode 22.
What happens with Abby and Carter?
Abby gets badly beaten by the abusive neighbor after trying to mediate
between him and his wife. She's brought in by ambulance, and both Carter
and Luka are at the hospital, but neither treats her. Who will stand by
her in her recovery from the injuries and her recent relapse into
drinking? Hmmm...A possible hint: John Wells has said Carter and Susan
won't last much longer.
