begins to affect his work life. Dr. Carter (Noah Wyle) struggles with
his medical student Ivan (guest star Joel Del La Fuente) and with his
own career decisions. Dr. Ross (George Clooney) offers to help when Dr.
Del Amico's (Maria Bello) examination of a young athlete (guest star
Coby Bell) causes an embarrassing reaction. Nurse Hathaway's (Julianna
Margulies) idea to open a free clinic for women and children leads her
on a search for funding. Dr. Greene's (Anthony Edwards) deposition
erupts into angry accusations against a deceased patient's family. Al
Boulet's (Michael Beach) rage at his and Jeanie's (Gloria Reuben)
situation leads to a violent incident. Laura Innes and Alex Kingston
