This layout features an CG image of Mai from Kanon (I believe she has dark hair usually though), which I found at A.P.A.G..
If you use it, be sure to credit the image as well as me for creating this design.
The brushes used were just some special effect ones that came with Photoshop 7.
Oh, and the title came from the song "Fields of Gold," which I think was originally sung by Eva Cassidy.Using »»
You should have a pretty good idea of what you're doing if you use this, but it's only two divs so it's not that difficult to figure out.
Download it, unzip it, make sure that all of the images are in the same directory, edit your navigation first to avoid horribly tedious work later on.
Leave the credits intact.

I've also got a PSD for the main image saved, so if you want something besides "Fields of Gold" & "Navigation" let me know.
