Willis O´Brien(at right), and Byron Crabbe, discuss the intricately
detailed miniature of Marcus´oppulent home, built by Gus White
and his miniature department.
In the film, the palatial structure was backed up by a glass painting
of the city and the volcano, and enhanced further with projected
foregroung water.
