Shulla was formed in 2001 by Kaito (vocal) and Sae (guitar), they were both ex-Clair de Lune and ex-Vaniza. Soon after that, Nagi (guitar, ex-Ludia le Moise), Ren (bass) and Yuiichi (drums) joined the band. Their first maxi-single was "Nihiko" which was sold out very soon, so they released a second edition and a new maxi-single, "Itazura" (which had a second release also). Starting on September 22nd, the band held a two-man tour, together with the band Ash. Shulla released their first mini-album, "Yukue fumei", the following year. On July 12th, they started their summer tour, and on July 24th, the band released a new maxi-single entitled "Gurare hanabi". Shulla was very famous back then and they started to participate in differents events and they held some tours and concerts, alog with various releases. On June 2004, the band became major under Nippon Crown label. Soon after that, they released their first major maxi-single, "Shirokuro no sekai", and another one called "Chibi". On April 2005, they released another one, entitled "Prism". Sadly, at the end of the year, Shulla announced their disband. Their last concert was on November 21st. After that, they released their last work: a DVD live, entitled "The Grand Finale".
