Versailles was formed on March 2007, by Kamijo (vocals, ex-Lareine) and HIZAKI (guitar, ex-SULFURIC ACID). Soon after that, Jasmine You (guitar, ex-Jyakura & ex-HIZAKI grace project). Finally, Teru (guitar, ex-Aikaryu) and Yuki (drums, ex-Sugar folkfull) joined the band also. Versailles gained fame very fast and they had a lot of interviews (even for European reporters). They had their first event on June 23rd. The following day, they distributed their first work: a DVD entitled "The Revenant Choir".
