- (AL) Republika e Shqipërisë (Albania)

The fist two letters indicate the district, TR is Tirana (Complete list). There is a red band in the left with the flag and initials of Albania.

- (AND) Principat d'Andorra (Andorra)

It's a small size plate. There is a letter, four numbers and Principality coat of arms.

- (BG) Narodna Republika Balgaria / Балгария (Bulgaria)

Although Bulgaria doesn't belong to the European Union has adopted a plate similar to European, but with Bulgarian flag instead of European one. The first two letters indicate the city of origin, for example C is Sofiya / София, in cyrillic alphabet (Complete list)

- (CH) Confoederatio Helvetica (Switzerland)

Swiss license plates are emitted by cantons. In the plates appear Switzerland and canton seals, canton abbreviation (two letters) and a number.

- (FL) Fürstentum Liechtenstein (Liechtenstein)

There is a four number combination and the principality seal. The first two letters are the initials of Fürstentum Liechtenstein. Plates are smaller than European standard.

- (HR) Republika Hrvatska (Croatia)

The fisrt two letters indicate the region of origin, for example ZG is Zagreb (Complete list). In the plate it appears Balkan republic seal and in superior and inferior edges it appears the flag.

- (MA) Al-Mamlaka al-Maghribiya (Morocco)  الهغرب

There is a group of numbers separated by a bar that indicate the city of origin, for example 5|7 is Al Hoceïma (Complete list)

Former plates had kingdom seal centered with red numbers.

 

- (RO) România (Romania)

Although Romania doesn't belong to the European Union has adopted a plate similar to European, but with Romanian flag instead of European one. The first group of letters indicate the region of origin, for example BN is Bistrita Nasaud (Complete list). The rest of the plate, two numbers and three letters are chosen by the owner, for example I've chosen 01 ABR (1th April in Spanish).

- (RSM) Sereníssima Repubblica di San Marino (San Marino)

Plates are smaller than normal. At right is the republic seal.

-  (RUS) Rossiyskaya Federatsiya / Российская Федерация (Russia)

There is a separation in the right part with Russian flag and a code that indicate the region of origin, for example 77 is Moskva / Москва (Complete list)

-  (TR) Türkiye Cumhuriyeti (Turkey)

There is a blue band in the left like European Union plates with Turkey initials. The firs two numbers indicate the city of origin, for example 34 is Istanbul (Complete list)

- (UA) Ukrayina / Украйина (Ukraine)

The district (oblast) of origin is indicated in a numeric code under a small Ukrainian flag in the left part. In addition the initials of main city of the region are indicated in the right part of the plate. For example 14 and TB is from L'viv (Complete list)
