Welcome to the
English Class

On September 13th,
school starts, and we will start with Autumn.

I've
prepared a wall to put the Bulleting Boards through
the year. In the first one, there are two trees,
for 1st graders, and two baskets for 2nd graders.
Children colour
leaves and apples with their names on them.

Numbers
and colours are very important for us through
the whole year. |
|
I
give students a paper with number cards from 1
to 6. We all decide the colour we have to colour
the numbers throwing a big dice we have in class.
Once we have the
numbers coloured, they cut the cards, and we
start playing.There are lots of games to do
with the cards, in pairs, in groups, or even
all together.

The book we use is My Friends,
by Oxford University Press. They meet the characters
of the book singing a song and colouring them. |

During
the first term they are going to work with Animals.
|

They
start by doing a brief review of what they learnt
last year, vocabulary and songs. And then, they
are going to work with Clothes
through the whole term. |
