Plan and implement lessons for grades K, 4, and 5 for 55 minutes per week and grade 6 for 110 minutes per week.  Co-teach and co-plan with 5th and 6th grade science teachers, provide supplemental lessons and activities for 4th grade teachers.  Performing field test implementation and formative evaluation of new science curriculum (SymmetryScience) Developed elementary science units on rocks & minerals (grade 4 & 5), electricity (grade 6), force and motion using technology (grade 6), and animals (grade K).

Taught high school biology classrooms for three different levels of study: Accelerated Level, College Level, and co-taught Advanced Placement. Prepared and taught units, lessons, and tests on day-to-day basis implementing student-centered learning, discussion, lecture, and other technology aided methods. Team-taught along with another student teacher in the Advanced Placement Biology class allowing for the presence of multiple teaching styles, teaching ideals, and teaching methods to produce a well-rounded curriculum and classroom.  Used Internet as both teaching tool and for additional teacher research.  Collaborated to create units and lesson plans with cooperating teacher and other student teachers. Charles River Laboratories—Ascites Division (Summer 1999): production of in-vivo diagnostic grade monoclonal antibodies; obtaining ascitic fluid from multiple Virus Antibody Free (VAF®) strains of mice with quick turnaround time.  Performing introperitoneal injections; inoculations with cell lines; harvesting using multiple tapping regimens; general handling and husbandry of animals. Assisted in recycling and remodeling of two laboratories; trained in isolator and barrier room procedures
