Course Objectives:
- Learn how an individual can and must take responsibility for the environment
and help others to do the same.
- Develope a critical thinking (scientific) approach to environmental problems
and solutions.
- Actively search out and participate in real-world solutions to environmental
issues.
Expectations:
- show up
- be on time to class (3 tardies result in Sunday detention)
- bring your text book to class everyday
- absolutely no eating or drinking in class
- use restrooms before or after class
- practice proper "Derech Eretz"
- have a note for everything
- each student is responsible for a $25 lab fee due by October 1, 2002
- each student will be issued a brand new text book. you need to get a cover
for your book, and you need to return it at the end of the year without markings
or damage - in like-new condition. You will be held responsible for the condition
of the book.
- there will be periodic quizzes at the beginning or end of class periods.
- do your homework assignments. they will be available from the web site if
you are absent from class.
