Interlingua School Native EFL Teachers Needed!
Location, climate, landscape and people Interlingua School is a private language school. It is located in Zunyi, Guizhou Province, Southwest China. Zunyi City is located in the North of Guizhou. The climate is agreeable. The average temperature in January is 1oC to 10oC , and 17oC to 28oC in July. Situated on the eastern Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, the whole province is a mountainous area with beautiful landscapes. There are a lot of scenic spots in the province and many of them are becoming more and more popular with tourists. Besides the Han people, the majority ethnic group, there are nine ethnic minorities in the province. These are the Miao, the Buyi, the Dong, the Yi, the Shui, the Hui, the Gelo, the Zhuang and the Yao people. Each minority has their own separate traditions. So there are rich anthropological resources in the province.
The program Interlingua School is the first private education program which is being permitted to employ foreign instructors by the local government. The goal of the program is to offer quality foreign language education to average people. In order to guarantee quality, we only employ professionally qualified teachers, adopt creative and effective approaches and limit classes to small size.
Courses: Spoken English for children and adults, Business English, lectures on variable topics.

Duties Program Director: 12 normal teaching periods; overseeing the academic operations of our EFL program; supervising an instructional staff; making sure effective implementation of curricula; providing counseling assistance to students. English Instructor: 18--20 teaching periods (45 or 50 minutes a period for teaching and one hour for activity) per week.
Qualifications Program Director: 1. Native speaker 2. A bachelor's degree necessary 3. A TEFL certificate (eg Cambridge CELTA (certificate) for instructor position, DELTA (diploma-level) for Director position) 4. EFL/ESF teaching and administration experience 5. Leadership abilities 6. Computer literacy 7. Cross-cultural awareness and a customer-service orientation 8. Organizational skills
English Instructor: 1. Native speaker 2. A bachelor's degree necessary. 3. TESL/TEFL certificate preferred. 4. ESL/EFL classroom experience preferred. 5. A very strong desire to live and work in China. 6. An energetic person who loves their work. 7. An adaptable person willing to make commitment when necessary.
Contract time: Program Director: two years, renewable English Instructor: one year / two years, renewable
Monthly salary: RMB 4000 for Program Director RMB 2,500 for EFL teacher with more than one year of teaching experience RMB 2,000 for EFL teacher with less than one year of teaching experience Benifits: Bonus (for holidays and travelling within China) RMB 10,000 upon completion of contract for one year Repatriation reimbursement upon completion of contract for one year.
