Alcanta is a private school in the province of Guangdong province. There are two schools currently looking for ESL teachers.
Length: One year renewable
Start: September 1/00
Perks: Accommodations in the teachers' dorm include your own room (sharing a bathroom with one other teacher), electrical, heating, appliances and meals. Medical is also included.
Reimbursed perks: Staff prepay their ticket and then it is reimbursed completely over the next year. The visa and work permits are 50%
Bonus: Payable at the end of the 12th payroll. Performance and attendance bonus up to 100% of monthly basic salary.
Qualifications: Required: BA minimum. TESL/CELTA and at least one year of teaching Optional: IELTS qualifications
Workload: 30 hours per week: 15.0 teaching hours, 7.5 tutorial, & 7.5 administration and preparation hours. One sick day per month - noncumulativ: if sick for more than one day per month, pay is prorata deducted Public holidays Staff is allowed to earn additional income based on additional hours provided by the school. Staff can also teach outside of the school provided it has been prearranged by the school. The salary will be repaid based on the prevailing earning per hour.
