Marumo international Co., Ltd., located in Japan, is accepting applications for the position of Full-time English Teachers or Kindergarten Teachers for our opening starting right away. Note that about 70% of our students are children below the age of fifteen some are as young as three years old. We have a 40 hour work week with plenty of preparation time. We expect active, responsible, lively, and highly motivated people to join our team of three Japanese and five foreign teachers. Individuals with an active interest in intercultural exchange and sharing experiences with the local community are most welcome. Our school distinguishes itself though its genuine human approach in teaching.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
* Position : Full-time English instructor (40 hours / week) * Qualification : Native speaker of English, degree in education, Teaching experience preferred * Age : 23-35 * Subjects to teach : Children and adult conversation classes from beginner to advance * Extra Curricula : Participating in local interest groups * Location : Our language schools, public schools, and other organizations * Commitment : For at least 1 year * Holidays : Sundays and one other weekday *Vacation : Summer 5days, Winter 5days *Sick days per year * Monthly Salary : 260,000yen (depending on experience negotiable) * Housing : Subsidized company apartment available * Benefits : Health insurance and travel support, Japanese lessons
An existing valid working visa is welcome but not mandatory. Marumo International provides sponsorship to obtain a working visa for which at least a four year university degree and 3 months of processing time are required. An international driver’s license is required as well.
Our school and subsidized furnished apartments are located in the outskirts of Kumagaya, the biggest city in northern Saitama. The cost of living is lower here than in bigger cities. The accessibility of Tokyo on one hand and regional historical cities, the Japanese country side and mountains on the other hand are the most excellent features of our area.
