The teachers should enjoy working with children, as the classes are for elementary, middle and high school students. You should be a native speaker of English and be comfortable with American English and the accent. The positions include a 2 bedroom apartment which is fully furnished, within walking distance of the school and downtown shopping district. The candidates should hold bachelor's degrees and be familiar with some esl teaching methods. If you do not have experience, but are willing to train, contact me. The jobs are for 30 hours a week, afternoons and evenings for a very reputable school in this medium sized Korean city. The city is very conveniently located to two of the largest cities in Korea and one of the UNESCO cultural cities. There are plenty of opportunites for buddhist temple sightseeing, hiking (waterfalls) and other cultural artifacts of interest. The monthly pay is 1.6 million won a month, which is comparable to most schools in this area. The director is very fair and easy to work with and also very accomodating and willing to help make this a pleasant experience for everyone involved.
