We, Ivy Education Inc., are a Language Education Corporation that runs Foreign Language Programs at over 7 major universities in Korea. We are also running a special program, 'H.E.L.P (Helpful English Live-in Program)' which is sponsored by MBC Academy, a subsidiary of MBC broadcasting company. It is a live-in dormitory program which enables students to learn English staying together with instructors in an isolated place only speaking English during the period. This program is recognized nationwide as a very effective and efficient English education system for those who hope to learn English. In this summer, we are supposed to run the 5th H.E.L.P. program.
For this reason, we are looking for qualified instructors who are able to participate the Program with energetic and positive attitude.
Qualification and conditions are as followings;
Qualification 1. At least BA degree in English education or a related field 2. Years of ESL/EFL experiences 3. Teaching certificate preferred ( TESOL, CELTA, TEFL ¡¦) 4. Instructors in Korea preferred
Terms of Employment 1. Employment Location : Seoul, Korea 2. Teaching location : Sokcho in Kangwon Province 3. Candidates : Adult ( college age and above), Junior (7th¡12th grade), Kids (4th¡6th grade)
4. Class size : appx. 14 for Junior and Adult , 10 for Kids 5. Teaching hours : Within 35 hours per week 6. Salary : appx. 2,200,000 - 2,500,000 won It depends on degree and experiences. 7. Teaching period : Jul. 17th, 2000 ¡ Aug. 17th, 2000 8. Room and Board offered during the program 9. If requested, a Letter of Recommendation in Korean or English will be offered upon a completion of the program.
