We're EF Semarang and EF Yogyakarta in the heart of Java, looking for teachers to join our 3-year-old school in Semarang with its Indonesian, Canadian, Australian, South African and British staff and our new school in Yogyakarta, or to teach English for business in-company at Kudus on the north coast. If you love teaching, are qualified to RSA CELTA or equivalent, preferably with some experience, have no dependents, and want to try life in one of the most beautiful islands on earth, we'd like to hear from you EF Semarang and EF Yogyakarta are franchises of English First, a multinational school network with branches in more than 40 countries around the globe. Semarang is the capital of Central Java, Yogyakarta is its cultural heart, and Kudus is an interesting old town not far from one of Indonesia's best marine national parks. We've got volcanoes, jungles, ancient temples and the largest Buddhist stupa in the world all on our doorstep. Teachers live in Indonesian communities and make Indonesian friends.

Our students in Semarang and Yogyakarta are mostly teenagers and young adults studying General English but there are also kids' classes, some TOEFL and Business English. In Kudus, students are management staff from one of the area's largest manufacturing companies and classes have a maximum of 6 students. We have a good range of resources to help you make your lessons take off, including internet, CALL, video, lots of classroom games and activities and reference books.
