| The following is a poem I wrote for my nephew, Kevin, who
at the time scared us with a high fever and convulsions. Hospitalized
with all those tubes in his tiny 2 year old body, he seemed so helpless.
All I did was cry and pray for him to get better. I wished so much I
could help him. |

Delight ©By

I
want to see him.
I
want to swallow him with my eyes,
I’ll
reach under the skies until I find him.
Then,
I will cry.
I’ll
cry rivers and flowers will spring
from
the tumultuous feeling that’s bursting inside.
I
want to hug him.
Like
clouds hug the mountains
and
thunder shouts out
The
valleys between them
whisper
"its alright"
Let’s
make a pact,
Before
our lives are over
We’ll
sing sweet delights
