Siew Chin... It seems so long ago, the day we met on the bus and you asked me if I was in Form Two and I looked at you and said "What do you think?" (I was in Form One of course) I guess I was sorta rude eventhough I said it with a smile (Too much influence from those romance novel heroes)...

Chin, you were the first friend I could share my enjoyment of romance novels with.. We have so many things in common... in you, I have found my partner in anime crime *winks*... I smile thinking back of how we used to take the bus (or drive), wandering around town searching everywhere for precious anime items and books, AND dragging poor Val with us everywhere... hee hee, remember "kaching! kaching!"?...

Thanks for translating all those Sailormoon and MKRE episodes for me!! Even if I never got to watch it all... *sniff* I'm going to be sooooo jealous when you finish watching everything... You get to watch all those cool anime!!... *big grin*

I love your plots, Chin! I love our discussions on the phone too... Even if we always get so frustrated and angry with each other...Tee hee.... Arguing with each other for hours only to find out that we were talking about the same thing, only we misunderstood and thought we were actually disagreeing... Valerie... *grins* I knew you nearly a whole year before we started down the path of friendship. Just think, Val, on that day the whole 'jing'-gang went bowling, if I hadn't asked you if you read fantasy books, we would never have been friends. You were the quiet one in school... but, boy, you weren't quiet then with all the flood of recommendations & criticisms of the books you have read....

Of course, our trio friendship was cemented, thanks to X-Files!! All those early Thursday (?) mornings after Wednesday night X-Files, when I'd rush to school to sit with you in the cafeteria and say "Did you see last night's show??"... Of course, you were always so sleepy...but we managed to keep the conversation going... hee hee...

*grins* Our late night phone conversations (" You one ring me, then I ring you"... *grin*) that drived our parents nuts and caused the phone bills to sky-rocket... Ah...and of course, all those comp games you introduced to me...Diablo and Privateer 2 especially... *giggles* Thanks for protecting me from all those evil guys when we played Warcraft 2 and Starcraft in the cyber cafe... Any time you need cash in the game, call me... hee hee.. Too bad we never got to kill Diablo together in the multiplayer game....

OH! And of course, thanks for the 'tah-kei'-ing!!!!!!...  Virtua Cop 2 (the train level- YOU: "Damn! This gun won't shoot right....I'll probably kill the civilian hostage! You kill him"... I: "Ok"..... *bang* [you killed the bad guy]...HAH! :op ...) and Virtua On Cyber Troopers (Hee hee, remember that day we dressed sweetly.. then we went to watch a bunch of guys play it and I said to you "This looks like a fun game...hmmm, I wonder how to play??"... *then I sit down next to those guys and went "Oh my, what do I do??...Ohhh..ok..I get it..." *and then I trashed the comp and squealed* "This is soooo easy!!!" Hehehe....I was evil! EVIL!! )

Val and Chin... *giggles* I just had to add... all those times with DD... Heehee... How Val and I would plot on how we'd fly to Vancouver to kidnap him and bring him back for Chin... LOADS of fun times just imagining crazy wacky stuff... *winks* And of course, our assembly meeting pastime... The Adventures of Tarzan, T-Rex and Jane!! (featuring many famous guest appearances)...*grins*.. *sniff* I wish I had kept the stuff... I think I did...but they're lost forever now...waah

Marianne... Dearest Marianne... *smiles* What can I say... we were in Pendidikan Moral together....we became great friends... I enjoyed our singing sessions when we'd sit or stand around somewhere and just sing our lungs out... *grins* You sang great!...I was LOUSY! But you never let that bother you... *hugs*... I can't tell you how pleased I was to find that you were in Taylor's when I was there too.. I remember how I'd sneak out of class just to look for you in the A-levels block and hang with you... I miss you a lot, Marianne... we sorta grew apart... my fault, really.... I'm glad we're keeping in touch now... I hope that we'll always be together....

Wei Voon....my 'sister'... *smiles* We've shared so many secrets... we've been there for each other for a long time... *grins* I still think of our golden moment: The Duet Act we did for the Forensics Tournament.... It was great... You will always be my favorite acting partner.... One thing I appreciate most about our friendship was the honesty. You never held anything back from me. If I did something stupid, you told me. You were the needle that popped my ego everytime it bloated up too much.... *hugs* Thanks... I'm sorry that we don't keep in touch as much anymore now... I hope that things are well with you.

Carolyn... My best friend in primary school until around Form 1 or 2 when we started to drift apart... Remember the days when you, Yvonne and I would sit on the ground outside the canteen, eating our nasi lemak? You got the sambal, Yvonne got the ikan bilis and I got the eggs... Hee hee...that was cool... I also remember how we'd rush through our class work so that we could go to the back of the class and play "News Reporters"... I wish I could find our "news" book again... hehe "Mr. C finds the Cure of Cancer".... or that book I wrote when we tried to write our own romance stories...You've been one of my bestest friends of all time, Carol... I'm sorry that we seldom keep in touch anymore... Maybe one day, our separate paths will cross again....
 

Mei Lan... Mei...of all the friends I have known in Taylor's, you were the one that I became good friends with. Remember that day when we sat at the coffee shop and talked? I think that was the moment we became closer... Hee hee, I remember when I used to come to college and GUSH about chatting... and you, Cynthia, Adeline and everyone thought I was nuts... *giggles* Then YOU became hooked too *L*... I'm glad we managed to meet at Lot 10 that time when you came back home...
