			The Objectives of the OSSSA
			The OSSSA holds student leadership conferences to gather student opinion on issues that affect secondary school students.  There are 12 regional conferences, one in each region, as well as student council executive conventions (SCEC) and regional executive conventions (REC).  The objectives for the Ontario Secondary School Students' Association are: 1)  To act on issues and matters that concern  Ontario Secondary school students. 2)  To determine and represent the best interests of students and present them to the Ontario Ministry of Education and all other appropriate organizations in all matters of concern to secondary school students. 3)  To provide resources and leadership training, as able, to students in Ontario in order to help them achieve their own educational and developmental objectives. 4)  To promote communication and co-operation amongst secondary school students in Ontario.
