Greetings! My name is Serena Lacosse (also known as Sunshinekid, Jelly Bean, Sun Child, prancer, and itzakatootzy) and I'm the President for the Eastern South Region of the OSSSA. I was born on October 11, 1984, I live in Cornwall and I go to C.C.V.S. I love partying, hiking, travelling, sports, and just layin' back is always fun too. I always groove to the Beatles when I'm doin' dishes. I got into OSSSA because I had heard of this organization where the people are so amazing and fun to be around. I went to my first meeting and fell in love with the idea that as students we can really make a difference in the lives of the people around us. You get to meet so many rocking people, learn so many awesome leadership skills, and get to go to these kick butt conferences and events!!! The OSSSA is like a family that you learn to love . . . and hate. My favourite OSSSA memory is when Steve drove all the way to Ottawa and found out he forgot the cheques, drove all the way back to camp to get the cheques, drove back to Ottawa, and then back to camp. It's a memory that will always stick because it is so priceless. And always remember: Life is what you make of it, so make it FUN! Anyhow, I'd just like to say one last thing to all of you reading this: Shoot for the moon and even if you miss you'll land among the stars!
