BARBARIAN BLOODSHED
" Wake up damn it!!! We're under attack!!" roared Gulius as blood trickled from the corner of his mouth.
Vaedamir was pounced on by at least three little monsters and was stabbed viciously & repeatedly. The barbarian fell face-first in the road as the fiends jumped on his back.
The big man lay unmoving at their feet in the middle of the road; countless stab wounds claimed the whole of his back.
" This was unaccounted for! Blast me for agreeing to all this!" Gulius bent down and felt the vitals of the barbarian " He restood cursing
The slumbering warriors roused in time to be jumped by two goblinoid creatures screaming over them. Vaedamir got stabbed square in the back as he tried crawling towards the fighting teammates. He yelled in pain as the dwarf and ranger each killed a goblin. Nerendil was fortunate to stand in time to face his foe and smote it dead with his sword. Another wave of creatures joined the fracas as the quad became overwhelmed.
Gulius slew another two enemies with his battleaxe as Teflar, though blinded by darkness, went on a major killing spree. Twisting his blades in a spinning fury, he dispatched the last three goblins who hindered him. Both Teflar and Gulius leapt to aid their barbarian who was being mauled by the pack of swamp goblins. The paladin did all he could to fend off the wild swings of the enemy who fought him. As soon as the Raven trio gathered for a final assault against an unfortunate death, the goblinoids scattered as quickly as they had attacked. The bleeding heroes panted desperately in the night wondering what had occurred and not sure whether they should run or make a last stand over Vaedamir.
" He is dead! We might follow if we don't leave quick!"
