What is Petz?

So you want to know what Petz is? Okay, basicly, Petz is a computer program where you take care of cyber catz or dogz. (Or, depending on who you know, chickenz, bearz, wolvez, and other critters.) Chrissy has Catz3, but there are 7 other Petz programs. They're made by PF Magic and The Learning Company.   There are 10 different breedz of Catz. You can see them all at the Breedz page. Your first stop is the Petz Adoption Center, where you can pick a few Petz of your own.   Like real pets, Petz need to be fed and played with. You can feed your Petz with the Petz food or Treatz. They need mostly food but Treatz are a nice extra. Don't feed your Petz too much or they'll get fat! You can brush Petz with the grooming brush, or be ready for hairballs.   Sometimes we'll do tricks for you if we get Treatz. Just wave them nearby and we'll perform (If we feel like it.)  But whatever you do, don't use the spray bottle. It's only to punish really bad Petz.   Most Petz programs have different play scenes. Petz 3 has the kitchen, beach, living room, backyard, and, if you can find the download, the snow scene. There is also the Toy Closet, where you can get toys for us to play with.  Another Closet holds clothes for us to dress up in.   A new option in Petz 3 is breeding.  Petz can fall in love and you might get a kitten. Petz of different Breedz can mate, but no Dogz-Catz mixing. Only adult Petz can fall in love and breed, and you can use the Perfume, Heart Candy, Music Box, and Heart Pillow to help them fall in love.   Whoa, that was a mouthful.
