The Legend of the DEAD BRANDYS.....started in Adam's basement. Just three average youth group kids getting together and jamming about dead pets. Named after Dave's late pet, Brandy, the band wrote numerous songs about the trials of losing a pet from various points of view. Song themes also ranged from ordeals with parents to gospel remakes to gay indians. Filled with varied music styles, catchy choruses, and the refusal to make their lyrics rhyme- the DEAD BRANDYS became a hit sensation among many. Sadly, the group was short-lived and reunions were few and far between, but someday the DB's shall live again...
