Obedience: The Halifax Kennel Club Trial judged by Marie-J Cloutier on September 2, 2006 served as the obedience portion of the 2006 National Specialty. Marie-J's German Shepherds and Australian Cattle Dog have allowed her to touch the worlds of Obedience, Conformation, Agility and even Herding. However, she says: "obedience remains my first love".

High Scoring Springer was won from the Open B Class by Nanjay's Common Cents CD, owned and shown by Linda Sheldrick of Ontario. Not only did she win the Specialty but also high in trial for the Halifax Kennel Club obedience trial and then won high in trial again, the next day in a run-off with a 197.5. I believe this finished her 3rd leg for her CDX.
