Expectations of you
as an Essential:

----You must show a dedication to the clan. This can be done in several ways by playing with and chatting to other members, representing Essential at clan wars, and honoring the clan rules at all times. ----Communicate with and invite other
players to servers. When you are about to play, check to see if any
Essential members are online - if so send them the ip address and ask
them to join you. ----Rearranging your life for the clan
is not necessary, however we expect that all members will play Halflife
often enough to be known by other Essential members. Check the clan
roster often to make sure your ICQ list is current. ----We want to be respected as a clan
so foul/cheap play is not tolerated. Nor is cheating in any form. ----Essential does not talk trash. That
gives us a reputation we don't want. Doing so will be grounds for immediate
dismissal (especially if the comments are directed towards the performance/attitude
of another clan member). ----Provide feedback to the clan leaders
regarding your experience of being in Essential. Feedback makes the
clan grow stronger and we want a positive experience for all members.
You must get a username and a password and leave regular messages on
the clan forums. If you are not interested in politics you don't need
to get involved, however you are expected to post your feedback and
keep current on clan affairs. Any clan member not seen for 2 weeks without
cause, will be removed from the clan roster. ----Halflife is a game and is made for
our fun. Don't lose sight of this. However, games are more fun when
you win and exceed. We strive to become better so don't hesitate to
offer help, or receive help from Essential clan members. This means
attending clan pratices. ----You may be asked to represent Essential
at a clan war. While it is preferable that you attend if asked you are
not required to. However, if you agree to represent us, you will be
expected to show up. Failing to do so may lead to immediate dismissal
from Essential. ----If you are asked to leave the clan,
you will be provided with reasons. If the differences are not resolved
in a mutually satisfactory manner, you will stop using the clan tag
and remove the clan skin from your computer. ----We as a clan, maintain a positive
attitude. If you have any problems, contact a clan leader for assistance.
We do not tolerate members that display a bad attitude, or that whine
and complain. We do not tolerate cheaters - if you cheat you will be
removed from the clan roster immediately. ----Excessive inactivity is not tolerated.
If there is a reason for an absence, let a leader or co-leader know,
or extend the courtesy to post a message on the forum: "My computer
is #%@ed," "Going on vacation for 3 weeks," "Got
finals this week" and so on. As mentioned above, an unexplained
absence will get you removed from the clan roster. This being done as
their are several "on again, off again" people that join clans. |
