The estimated cost for those wishing to join the ESSAC and undertake dive training is ¤367 (abated[1] ¤332). The cost includes one years membership to both ESSAC & BSAC and covers the loan of diving equipment[2], course material, pool training & use of pools along with all open water instruction
If you wish to join the club you should contact the BSAC Administrator who will arrange for you to complete the necessary ESSAC & BSAC registration forms. You will also have to provide two passport size photographs (please no inkjet/LaserJet images) for insertion in your BSAC Dive Log & Membership books.
Annual membership to BSAC also includes a ‘free’ subscription to the monthly issued Dive magazine (note magazine is not supplied to abated members). Membership also includes a third-party liability insurance and access to any of BSACs’ worldwide network of clubs/branches, as a visiting member.
{1} An abated membership to BSAC is possible for the second and subsequent members of a family who are living at the same address. In additional a student membership, to BSAC, is possible where the member is under 18 years or is in full-time education.
[2] Equipment loaned is Dive Jacket, Cylinder & Regulators. Students are required to purchase their own masks, fins, snorkels, & dive suits. This equipment must be returned by the 1st September or sooner if the student leaves ESTEC.
