Rookie of the Year???
There has been so much talk on who is going to be this year rookie of
the year. Two names always come up during these talks: Sue Bird and Tamika
Catchings. Both are outstanding players! Lets take a look at their numbers:

Catchings is clearly ahead of Bird in most categories, not to mention her last game against Orlando where she scored more than 30 points. However, Tamika Catchings is the main scorer for Indiana, while Sue Bird is more of a passer. It will be a tough decision to make as we look back at last year rookie of the year selection, Jackie Stiles who was out-numbered by Lauren Jackson. More likely that there are other factors to determine who will be the chosen one. We will see together what the outcome is going to be.
