The Storm finally breaks the franchise record
at Orlando.
It was a relieve for Seattle Storm to add one more win this season. After
tough losses against the Comets, they bounced back and played smart at
Orlando. Lauren Jackson finally got her shots going this time with game
high of 27 points along with Simone Edwards who scored double digits of
her own. The newest team member, Kate Starbird contributed 5 points and
Sue Bird complemented her teammates with 10 points and 11 assists. Sue
has such a great court vision that she can create openings for her teammates
to score. That's why she is a very dangerous player even if her shooting
is off.
Now we are once again hopeful to see Seattle Storm at the playoffs, but they will not have an easy day at the office as they face the current leader of the eastern conference, Washington Mystics on Saturday at the MCI Center. Washington will try to end its 2 games losing streak with Holdsclaw back in the lineup. Can Seattle pull out the upset?
