Nipah Mangrove forest. Malaysia
The Nipah forest experiences diurnal flooding. Stratfication comprises various textural classes that is a function of flow velocity, apart from other factors.
Belts of these forest types can stretch upto 150m from rivers. This forest type fades into other types of systems depending on local conditions.
