There are three breeders in the dark elf society: Dwahro, Inrahi,
and Tolethven. Lord Breeder Dwahro is the wealthiest and most
experienced of the three, having begun Etea Arena after
"domesticating" a drakkin female and creating his own colony. In the
centuries the arena has been running, only two other drow have ever
managed to get their hands on females, both through Dwahro's
"generosity".

Dwahro: Not a man to fool around with. He's a tough and
intelligent person with very definite views on how things should be
done - his way. Seeing as he's the single most powerful man in the
city, people rarely have any problems with this.

Inrahi: A lady of some repute even before she became the
second breeder. Extremely arrogant, but with every right. The only
person she answers to is Dwahro, and even that is often grudging. In her younger days she was known
for her prowess with a dagger, but has since switched her sights to
the training of drakkin.
Graceful and lovely, an outsider would never think that she was
capable of violence, even knowing the reputation of her people. Her
long, flowing hair is a rarity among them, a luxury that few
fighters can afford. It's a matter of pride to her to keep it so
long and it's not so difficult to confine it before a confrontation.
A trademark of Lady Breeder Inrahi is her fondness for, and
collection of, drakkinhide clothing. Whether a supple pair of
breeches or an elegant gown, if she owns it then she wears it. A
favorite piece of hers is a dress made from one of her former reds,
a well-known and vicious fighter. When he passed his fighting prime
and could no longer win mating fights he was killed and his hide put
to good use.
The lady's tailors have perfected a process of softening the tough
hide until it feels as smooth as silk against the skin. This secret
is guarded jealously and many who've had the extreme fortune to
acquire a bit of hide will pay a great deal of money for the
service. It's an alternate source of income that earns her quite a
bit, but obviously the market is limited by the shortage of drakkin
past their prime.

Tolethven: Probably the most unusual of the three breeders.
The simple fact that he kept an albino offspring is an unusual act -
the pink-skinned creature is no good for fighting and would have
sold very well as a pet to some high lord or lady. He claims that
his Cha-kinale and As-ny are able to communicate with him. Not the
most stable of individuals, but there is more to him than meets the
eye. He is an unbelievably good trainer.
His
personality is very unlike that of the other two breeders. He's a
bit spacey at times and makes some people uncomfortable at first
meetings. Despite this, he's got a fantastic sense of humor and
displays it at unexpected moments, when the most people are
watching. He's considered
odd because of his fascination with extremely odd items,
artifacts, and magics. He derives great pleasure from showing said
items, artifacts, and magics off in very public areas, usually at
the expense of either Dwahro or Inrahi (usually the latter, since
she's more fun to poke).
One thing that distinguishes him from many other trainers - and
breeders - is his quite remarkable talent at communicating with and
training his drakkin. Mental communication is his preferred
method as he feels that it gets more across. All of his drakkin obey
his slightest whim and their discipline is quite uncanny for the
species. The males are loyal to him as a sort of "second female"
leader rather than a dominant oppressor. His purple female sees him
as a partner rather than a servant (yes, this is how females see
their owners, but only Tolethven knows it and he doesn't tell).
The
undisputed expert on the care, training, and handling of albinos, he
is the one to consult if you have any questions about fair-skinned
drakkin. Similarly, he enjoys discussing albinos with anyone who
will listen. His knowledge of drakkin society and behavior is truly
amazing. Most of this was gained through close contact with
Cha-kinale and As-ny.
