Biography 

It  was Summer of 1986. I was born on Saturday afternoon about 4:45 pm. in the Arlington Hospital. I weighted 8.12 pounds. I grew up in Arlington, Virginia until my 4 years old. Since little I started to draw on the wall with my Mom's lip stick. I started to go to Day-care center when I was 2 years old until my 4 years old. In 1990 my Dad had to go to Pennsylvania cuz ha got job in there. My Mom and I  were about to go there when...

My Grandmother got sick and she was a little delicate. So only my Mom and I went to Visit her in my Mom's country. Since I only knew english my cousins didn't like to play with me cuz they didn't understand me. So I had to learn how to speak Spanish, and I did it! Although I only studied at home. After that, I went to Kindergarten, I kept learning Spanish and I only spent 2 years. Later, in 1993 I went to 1st Grade 'till 3rd Grade to a School called "Issac Attie" (CIAC). For my 4th, 5th and 6th Grade I went to other school, but this one was a Special School only for students that were really prepare  in the Music and other subjects. In order for me to get in that School I had to take 3 totally different tests and (if) I failed one I couldn't have to opportunity to take it again, so it was kinda hard.

I took the first test, it was about recognizing notes from the piano without looking, and guess what? I passed. I was really happy.   Well, then I had to wait 3 months to take the other test. So I took the second test in September. This test involved: reading music, singing the song that you like and guessing the notes from the piano without looking and getting any wrong. So... guess what? I also passed. It was really amazing. For the last and final test I waited only 4 days. This was a Saturday Morning. The test involved: Mathematics, Science, History, literature, and Art. Well, with a little luck... I passed them all. The total of the kids that took the first test were about 350, only 100 kids passed. For the second test only 50 kids passed, 25 boys and 25 girls and I was one of them!

In 1996, I started to study in my NEW School called, "Institute Edward Laredo." I used to take Chorus, Education of the voice, and theory in the afternoons. And regular classes in the mornings. I also took 2 years of Ballet and 1 year of recorder with a Japanese Teacher. For 5th Grade each student had the opportunity to choose an instrument that they wanted to learn, so I chose Piano because I was curious in learning it how to play. So, I kept playing it for 6th grade. My piano teacher was the best! I learned so many kinds of songs like classic, jazz, romantic, rag, etc. I also did recitals for parents and teachers.

Well, those years were the best. But I came back to USA on December 8, 1998. My Mom, brother, and I went to Orlando Disney which was really kool... awesome! We stayed for 2 whole weeks, after that we went to Miami and stayed in a Hotel for two days and then we went to Bahamas for a day, so it was pretty tight! Then we came to Arlington, Virginia to live with my Mom's cousin and her family, but now my Mom, lil' bro, me and my Dad live in a Tan House.

Last Summer of 2001 my Mom gave my the best present ever! She took me and my lil' bro to DisneyLand and California Adventures (which is a totally new attraction). We stayed in a Hotel called, "Paradise Pier Hotel" which was in front of the "California Adventure Park." It was awesome, really kool. We only stayed 5 days but those were the best days of my life!

Right now I'm still playing piano, 2 years ago in 8th grade I started to play flute, I'm trying to learn Guitar cuz my whole family plays it. I guess the music is in my blood.   I'm an average student in School, I'm not that perfect, but I have awesome teachers and grades!
