"It's unbearable, Dear Lord," I said through my tears,
It's hard to accept, the lost future years.
So young and so sweet, you loaned her to me,
Now cradled in light, your love set her free.
You promised to heal her, and this you have done,
The battle is over, Eternity has won.
Thank you, Dear God, for Your Son still lives,
And so does my daughter, now she is His.
The future's not lost, the pain will not last,
I say with much comfort, "This too shall pass."
