Getting an E-Mail Address

Introduction
E-Mail allows you to send and receive messages around the world. It is fast, taking between 5 and 15 minutes for your message to reach Australia - handy for keeping in touch with friends and relations.
There are plenty of free e-mail providers out there, but the most people tend to use Microsoft's "hotmail" system. The address you get is yours to keep and administer. In fact; you can access it from anywhere in the world - so long as you can get onto the Internet.
Setting up the Account
1. Start up your internet browser. In the URL bar, type in "Hotmail" and press enter.

3. Wait for the Page to load in. Look around the page. You will see a login screen, for a login name and password. But you don't have any of those just yet. So as a new user, click on sign up now!

4. Click on I accept to the Hotmail Terms of Service. This is like a contract stating that you agree to abide by all the rules they set out for you.  Next page in manual
