A LITTLE HISTORY

Like any other band we didn't just appear out of no where, we had a beggining, and we've had plenty of stories in our day. It all started when Ryan and I were in 6th grade, that seems like an eternity now, but that's how long ago it was. I had JUST started playing guitar, and we had another friend who planned on being in our band. This was before Ryan even picked up bass, so we originally had him placed on drums. In the beginning, it was just a way for us to fuck around and have fun, it was the serious endeavour we've turned it into.

It was very coincedental when, in seventh grade we met our first drummer, and very shortly after Ryan's uncle gave him his first bass. Ryan picked up on bass extremely quickly, and our drummer was already an amazing talent. We jammed mostly on covers, but we were slowly working on originals, some of which our current songs are based on.

As time passed, and we finally got to highschool, our guitarist friend, Ted was his name by the way, went to a private school, and put down guitar. Our drummer also moved to a remote little northern town, but we still were all together, and we played whatever we coul, little parties, dances, talent shows, band battles, any oppurtunity we could come by. Finally we met our first vocalist, Brian. He was a drummer in actuality, but we had a drummer, and wanted to try our upcoming show with vocals. Fairly soon before the show, our drummer pulled out of the band, and we had a friend from another band drum for the gig.
With this show under our belt, Brian went to drums, and we set out for a new singer. That summer we met John. We clicked instantly, and we had the same taste in music. We tried him on vocals and it worked. So that gives you our current lineup. It took many years, but it's done I hope! Hopefully you can hear us soon!

THE TALENT SHOW HO

As many people know, Maine is not exactly an incubator for pissed off metal bands who write about sex, violence, and the likes, so you can probably guess there have been attempts to censor us. The one incident that stands out in my mind, was at our freshman talent show. We Didn't even have a vocalist yet, so we were just playing instrumental versions of a couple covers, and of an original. There was a disclaimer at the beginning of the show that anyone who disliked loud music should leave, and we were on last so non one would miss the other acts. We had a couple friends running the lights and the mixer.
We had almost finished our whole set, when suddenly My guitar went silent. I looked over at the mixer, and some fat fuckin ho was standing over my friend saying something to him. I put my guitar down and ran over to him. I started yelling some shit I can't even remember at the bitch, and all she could say is "it's too loud" or "your damaging peoples hearing" fucking leave! Christ. I hate people like that, but I guess I'll have a reason to play harder and louder.
