The Euglossian Society was formed in 1913 when the Hesperian Literary Society grew to large and split into the Euglossian and Philalethian Societies. Over the years it has transformed from a literary society into a social society eventually adopting the Greek letters Epsilon Upsilon Gamma in 1945. It is rich in tradition, sisterhood, and community service.
