from Miss
Philadelphia herself, Grace Chung
Dear Miss Carrie Choi,
I am writing you in regards to the outcome of the Miss Wellesley
1998 pagent. I have much reason to believe that the results were corrupted
by the winner herself, Miss Christin Yoo. Yes, I know this may be hard to
believe, but Miss Yoo was not an honest contestant. She was highly
involved, in fact she instigated, an extremely scandalous situation--
bribery.
Indeed, Miss Yoo bribed the pagent's judge so she would be
ensured the title of Miss Wellesley 1998. I am utterly disgusted the
corrupt nature of this pagent and demand that you take immediate action to
ammeliorate the situation. As the other contestant in the pagent, I
suggest you allow the public to know of this hideous deed, and have THEM
vote for the TRUE winner of the pagent. This will make it nearly
impossible for Miss Yoo to try fixing the pagent in her favor. My
complaint has NOTHING to do with the fact that I should have won. (Not to be
immodest, but the blue platform sneakers with white socks and flowy black
skirt at mid-calf length were truly a magnificent combination. And I must
also remind the public of the multi-color beaded jacket, which sparkled so
wonderfully. However, I do not want to take all the credit for creating such a
breathtaking ensemble, for it was also an act of divine inspiration)
In any case, although my outfit was FAR SUPERIOR to that of Miss Yoo's, I
have brought this scandal to your attention solely because it is the just and
right thing to do. I cannot allow the public to be deceived like this.
Hence, I would again urge you to take immediate action. Miss Yoo needs to
be stripped of her title and there needs to be a re-vote...this time it
will be decided fairly and just, by the public. Thank you for taking this
serious matter into consideration and I hope the best and REAL Miss
Wellesley 1998 will be crowned soon.
Sincerely,
Miss Grace Chung

It's so obvious that the Miss Wellesley Pagent was rigged. Anyone with
any sense of fashion could see the utter beauty and aesthetic value of
Grace Chung's high platform shoes, and how much they added to her evening
frock. I think there should be a recount of all of the votes because
there must have been some computer error the first time that the vote was
tallied. I of course raise my hands to the real Miss Wellesley, Miss
Philadelphia herself, Grace Chung.
Irate voter,

_clearly_ miss philly, miss ghetto grace herself, dominated the
competition and therefore deserves the right to contest the election and assume her rightful position. to miss blue bell and miss
so. cal, you looked absolutely ravishing but, alas, you couldn't stand a chance compared to the unsurpassed beauty of the one
and only, original ghetto grace. i demand a re-election.

I am deeply saddened by the recent controversy concerning the legitimacy
of my victory in the Miss Wellesley pageant. To suggest that I would
stoop to bribe the judge of the pageant, a man of upmost integrity, Mr.
Jacob Chung (Hi Jacob sweetheart! *smoochie smoochie*) is simply, in one
word, ridiculous. I did not use any underhanded method in winning this
pageant. I believe that my dress-- a stunning piece of tin-foil acccented
with rhinestone buttons-- speaks for itself. I have been extremely
distraught by this entire ordeal. BUT if I am undeservedly stripped of
my title in the near future, my conscience remains unshaken and my
integrity of action untainted. I am determined make my comeback in
another pageant in the future... one in which the stakes are much higher.
Thanks to my public for your support and prayers.
Too legit to quit,

Scandalous! This entire ordeal is scandalous, not in the fact of Miss
Yoo's (obviously deserved) ascendancy to the high position of Miss
Wellesley 1998, but in the utter disdain and disrespect she has been
subject to, most notably by her spurned rivals in the competition. I
smell something fishy, and it's not my breath (not this time, at
least). The beaYOOty of Miss Blue Belle, I mean Bell, is found not only
in her stunning apparel, but is even captured in the essence of her
picture. It's something that sparkles brighter than her
aluminum
dress, something that makes the heart race faster than her running
shoes, something that declares a price of greater worth than the tag
hanging from her dress.
Or am I the only one who can see this?
To address the questions our, I mean, my detractors have thrown
my way, I will state that quite simply, Miss Yoo had no active part in
swaying my vote. Though I was the sole judge, I feel my decision was
based on entirely objective material. Case closed. Need I further
justify and defend my actions? Will these hounding rumors and
malevolent accusations never cease?! Ask yourself, Mr. and Ms.
Red-blooded American, if you would choose someone to represent Miss Wellesley, who better than Miss Yoo? The answer lies within your
heart... Do the right thing. Vote and defend Miss Yoo as the winner of
Miss Wellesley 1998!
Sincerely hers, I mean, yours,
Jacob H. Chung

i believe that Miss Blue Bell rightly deserves the title and honor of Miss Wellesley. c'mon, just look at the style and personality of her outfit. Baby blue, lace borders, price tag artfully hanging off her armpit, and the sneakers! oh, the best touch was those blue and silver sneakers.
this contest isn't legit in the first place b/c MISS MIDWEST has not been represented! what is up w/that?!?! until i see a Miss Midwest up there (i envision a stunning gown of barbed wire and cornsilk), i refuse to recognize the legitimacy of this so-called pageant! (do i hear an "amen" from my midwestern brothas?)

grace chung should win the 1998 Miss Wellesley Pageant since she almost KILLED me while telling me to vote for her when I came over to W last thursday night I said to Grace Chung, *Hey, you're the one in Carrie's webpage, right?* Then she replies, *Wait a minute, what did you say? Did you vote for me? When you go home, email Carrie and tell her that I should have won!@!#@##($!@#$!* Freakin' freaked me out! I almost died! So I told her, *If you mess with me, you mess with the pu-ray-jeh tee-m and you know what that means, right? Yeah, that's right, CHRISTIN YOO!* She laughed and walked away.
To the Public,
"hi Jacob sweetheart! *smoochie* *smoochie*"
'nuff said.
